SMALL CONTRACT FOR SERVICES
                        Contract No.2 6:3/3002- '1

This Contract is made on 24th October, 2004 between the United Nations Office for Project Services ("UNOPS"), and BKBMC a company duly constituted under the laws of Afghanistan ("Contractor"). In consideration of the promises contained in this Contract and subject to the UNOPS Conditions of Services hereby incorporated by reference as Annex L the Parties agree as follows:

SCOPE       The Contractor shall provide services for the Drilling for new Well for Ministry of Finance
(referred to as "Services") as per proposal (Bill of Quantities) attached as Annex II and hereby incorporated by reference. Unless otherwise provided in this Contract, the Contractor shaH furnish all the technical and administrative support, human resources, materials and equipment necessary to complete the Services.

PERIOD The Contractor shall complete the Services by 241h November, 2004.

PRICE & PAYMENT In full consideration for satisfactory completion of the Services, UNOPS shall pay the Contractor a total amount not to exceeding USD $12,190.00 (US Dollar Twelve Thousand One Hundred and Ninty only) as per the Contractor's quotation. Payment shall be made within thirty (30) days of receipt and acceptance of the invoice by UNOPS.

INVOICES Payment as required above only can be made after the Contractor submits to UNOPS an original invoice and one copy for the appropriate amount.

SUPERSEDING EFFECT This Contract supersedes all prior oral or written agreements, if any, between the Contractor and UNOPS, constituting the entire agreement with respect to the Service.
In witness of these terms and conditions, the parties execute this Contract, which is effective as of 24'h Octobe r 2004.
